Hi, I’m Shelley DePinto, founder and President of The Efficient Estate Organizing Co. In addition to being a Certified Home Organizer, my professional background includes nutrition and dietetics, program management, and education. Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a natural talent for organizing and enhancing efficiency. As my professional and family responsibilities expanded, I realized that my high level of organization was what enabled me to achieve both my professional and personal goals while managing day-to-day life, a home, and stress. As a registered dietitian and educator, I have observed how having systems and a plan in place is more important than motivation alone in predicting success, no matter what an individual’s big-picture goals may be. Helping others make their homes work better for them and live more organized, productive, and healthier lives brings me a great sense of joy and professional fulfillment.


Frequently Asked Questions

  • Organizing products are not included in the hourly rate, but we may recommend specific products as part of the comprehensive project plan. We can purchase the products for you, or you can order them and have the products delivered to your home for the first session. A mockup of several different product options for your space is available for a separate fee. We help you select products that complement your style and goals.

  • That is completely up to you. Some of our clients like to organize alongside of us. Others prefer that we do all of the organizing work for them. We will never dispose of or donate anything without your permission.

  • That is completely up to you. If you are not able to be at home while we complete the organizing work, we will provide periodic photos and updates via text. We will contact you with questions or for approval.

  • Absolutely! Basic labeling is included in the hourly rate if you would like to use labels. If you have a very specific type of label in mind, we can provide you with an estimate if it exceeds our standard offerings.
